How do you save?

I thought I could do it from the pause menu but no.
And I can't remember if the game told me how to save lol.
I know there is an autosave but can you manually save?

Seems to be only auto saves, it tells you how long since the last one when you try to quit.

You can't. You just gotta quit after you hit a checkpoint... Really annoying in an otherwise nice game. They should've let you trigger a save point manually by accessing a vending machine or whatever.

Never had any issues with saving, sorry for those that are, but it seems to be isolated issues related to steam, not the game.

its just autosaves for now. this is a feature i think will get added as the add patches to the game, since it allows you to choose save slots like the first game.

This drives me NUTS because if you're going to auto-save fine, but don't make me feel bad when I try to quit the game!

I wish it had the option to manually save too, not really a fan of autosaves being the only save method a game has. Some games also only have autosaves but ALSO manually save when you quit. Personally though I prefer it if I can turn off autosaves and manually save, and have the ability to copy a save to another slot, usually for "I want to be able to do this part again" or "in case I miss something that I can't return to" purposes.

Pretty sure it autosaves every time you go through an Otto tunnel to a new area, so there's that.
