Report a translation problem
Either way there are 2 workarounds. First if you have the levitation jump upgrade you can apparently just make it high enough to grapple onto the nearest thought if you time the jump right while the mail is descending.
Alternatively if you enter via the collective unconscious you'll start back at the start of the level, and you can just jump down to the stamp things way below and continue on from there.
When it happened to me people were only saying the levitation one, but since I was in the unconscious to get old stuff while I waited for a path I just went back from there, leading to the other option.
