Ah yes, Steam. It didn't work at the start, then it did, then it didn't again.

I have played 6 hours straight yesterday. I've finished casino mission and now I have access all the base. My rank is 16 or something. But none of my achievements unlocked. Not a single of them. Any advice?

I'm playing on Steam, also.

All right... I've verified the cache. Tried the game again. And some of them unlocked. First ones still missing, though. I guess I have to replay it if I want them all.

Basically any game that uses the Xbox Network API will stop poping acheivements if the app "Xbox Console Companion" is installed. It doesnt happen for everyone most of the time.

Steam Version
Win 11 - full;y updated.
System is fully updated and newest drivers and MB firmware.
( I never had this issue with another game, and I have alot)
Steam - Beta version
( have tried the experimental beta in settings as well, but it looks like it doesnt change anything,, No patch/update file was downloaded. ( is there a key we can use for a different beta? )


So i am having the same issue.. I did have the xbox console companion installed.. I removed all things xbox and that from my system rebooted, deleted folder just in case residual files were left from the xbox companion but ,, nothing ..

no achievements will pop at all.. i even uninstalled / reinstalled the game,, not just verify files.

I thought,, maybee if I earn one more achievement it will make them all pop up,, nope.

Although uninstalling the companion stopped the bug i had with the keyboard not working on boot up. That works fine now without having to plug in a controller and unplug. But achievements seem broken.

I did notice Steams UI will not pop up at all in game,, It is enabled in steam and the game settings. So I am guessing it has to do with that not working as to why steam chevos dont work...

!!!!!
So on digging deeper,, I noticed by default,, Run as administrator on the .exe was on..
Disabled that, and the steam ui now works,, and I just got the otto camera,, clicked it and got shutterbug to Pop,, But all previous ones are not,, Hmm

Plus side ,, got the steam ui and cheeves to work,
minus side- looks like I may have to start over on my game for previous cheevos

On windows 11 open the "xbox" app. It will prompt you to download two apps. "Gaming services" and Xbox Live experience. They are both the same thing really.

"Xbox console companion" needs to stay deleted for some people.
