Photo Mode Save Location

So it's a very cool touch that this game has a photo mode, but there's just one problem: I'm yet to find anything online saying *where* on your computer it saves the photos you take. Can anyone clarify?

It will be in a directory like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\160637524\760\remote\607080\screenshots
To actually find this sensically, on steam itself go to "View" at the top bar, select "Screenshots", and then select "Psychonauts 2" from the "Show:" dropdown. Clicking on any of those should give you a "SHOW ON DISK" button at the bottom, as well as options to upload the file publicly.

The FAQ says "Pictures are saved in the system's share folder location." But I can't find it on windows. If you ever find out, tell us ! I'm sure there are lots of people wondering

For Steam, should be where Steam stores its screenshots. Since anytime I take a photo in game with the camera, Steam UI pops up with a saved screenshot.

Ok yep, that was it. I can also see why people didn't just link to the local location, because on my computer at least they get saved to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\160637524\760\remote\607080\screenshots which is just not reasonably discoverable outside of having Steam outright point you to it.

I'll update the initial post with instructions.

I found what was wrong for me : the steam overlay was deactivated, to avoid achievements poping up on screen and ruining emotionnal scenes. Appearantly, it also deactivate the possibility of screenshoting

Surely your photos are being saved on your computer anyway, even if the overlay is deactivated? Check Steam's location for screenshots. Otherwise, maybe in Pictures? That's where my shots are being saved from my DRM-free copy, even though I launch it with Steam.

For the quickest route to Steam's screenshots in-game, go to the Steam Overlay, and out of the 6 windows in the bottom center of your screen, click the left button labeled "View Screenshots" or "My Screenshots" on the bottom-left window.

For the quickest route to Steam's screenshots on the desktop, navigate to your Steam window, click the "View" option in the top-left corner of the Steam window, and click the "Screenshots" option near the bottom of the popup "View" list.
