We've always been able to change the color of our levitation/attacks, and there's no "pride" references in the item that allows you to do it. If this is a political agenda, then so is the rainbow road in Mariocart.
The "strong woman in power position" thing is also a nothing burger. These are just characters. She even actively complains about being in charge while her boss recovers. If anything, she's kind of unlikable in many regards as well.
The only thing that somewhat could be seen as political is the gay couple, and it's more because it comes a bit out of nowhere and feels a little rushed. No one even acknowledges it or tries pushing beliefs about it down your throat. In fact, the fact their gay isn't even the reason it's memorable, it's because of what happened to one of them (not going to spoil it for you). So again, not political. They're stories define them more than the fact they are gay.
People who see all of this as political have become so hypersensitive to it that they see some kind of agenda in everything when in reality it's minor to nothing at all.
Don't be one of those people. If the game interests you, then play it. If it doesn't look good then don't. It's not like they were worshipping Satan and telling you to renounce God or something.
