FPS or Screen Tearing in game
I have a GTX Geforce 980TI and I7 - 6700 3.40GHz 4 core, checked before buying to see if my game can run it and it said it can run great.

I got through Serene without too much FPS drops, while still annoying but once I got to New Serene it went to crap.

It can run fine as long as you keep the camera movement to a crawl which I find ruins the game experience.

Please help.

In Windows Security, go to App & Browser Control > scroll down to Exploit Protection > Tab: Program Settings > add GreedFall.exe > scroll down to Control Flow Guard (CFG) > override > turn off. I manage to solve the stuttering and screen tearing by using this settings.

The above solution doesn't have a lot support among pc/nvidia comunity, it varies from system to system and has been named as a placebo. In fact it's strongly recommended that nobody messes with that configurations cause it's been catalogued as a myth/scam that has been going on for a couple of years.

"CGF is a very important exploit mitigation technique which stops certain kinds of exploits from working and greatly increases the difficulty in exploiting a computer. Disabling this will downgrade the security of your system massively, opening you up to attacks that could infect your computer simply by browsing to a website"

Oh and try lowering texture quality to high or medium, if you are playing with ultra textures that could be the culprit, I have a RTX2060 and ultra gives me stuttering on cities. I noticed that everytime vram jumps to 5600mb it triggers a stutter.
