"Family Reunion" Quest Bugged

Progressing through the family reunion quest i have found a bug that locks the quest making you unable to finish it.

If you complete it by using the charisma option instead of paying/fighting the quest doesn't update allowing you to talk to Vasco to end the mission.

Thank you for reporting this issue to us.
In order to investigate it, may I ask, does this issue occured at the end of the quest while talking to the thugs when rescuing Vasco's brother ? Did you leave the area right after and got a dialogue with Vasco ?

thanks for the quick reply, i reloaded and it worked fine the second time round, second time i left immediately and worked fine.

first time i talked to my companions and ran through all their dialog before leaving, whether that had something to do with it or if it was an of hand fluke i have no idea.

Same problem here, reloaded a few times with no difference. Ended up just paying them instead, and now the entire questline is marked with a V - and it still didn't work. :/

*edit* apparently the questline continues only when you leave the parameter. You just have to do some walking for it to keep going.

This bug is still in game in 2021. Multiple reloads of quick save didn’t fix it, neither did loading an older save. This basically leaves me unable to complete Vassos quest line. As this was first reported back in 2019, and isn’t fixed in 2021, am I to take it that it will not, in fact,, ever get fixed?
Any response from a dev would be greatly appreciated

I had this problem, even posted about it. Just leave the alleyway, which will trigger a cut scene and progress the quest.
