Thank you for reporting this issue. We will investigate it on our side.
May I ask, what is the current quest objective you have after the character said "Better not touch it" ? Do you have a prompt on the dead box or not at all ?
Have you tried reloading a save in front of the box ?
Sorry for the inconvenience !
Best regards :)
When going to the dead drop in the final Nauts quest, when choosing to see what he leaves in the box, all it says is "Examine" when trying to interact with the box/dead drop. Which, each time the box is interacted with, the only thing that happens is the "Better not touch it" comment listed above.
Again, thankfully the game's baked in auto-save feature kicked in just before the bridge (roughly 15 seconds earlier, or so), so it wasn't game breaking at all on my end.
As for saving/reloading, yes. I tried reloading multiple times. Including reloading from just before the "tailing" part of the quest, and/or exiting out to the main menu and loading from there. About the only thing I didn't do was fully exit the game and restart it.
On my end, all I needed to do was just choose to kill the guy instead of checking the dead drops contents. Going that route, the quest progressed normally. Which only resulted in a small dialog during quest completion stating that we were unable to identify the buyer.
Glad I was able to help.
This is some serious good habit ;) I do the same (thank you Skyrim)
