At the Heart of the Rebellion doesn't trigger/start

Hi, I am around 3/4 into the game and i started to realized that i haven't been doing many of the Bridge Alliance's quests. I looked around on the net and realized that after "Attacks on Caravans", i am supposed to get the next one in the chain "At the Heart of the Rebellion". However i haven't recieved it. I even went back to Hikmet to see if i could trigger it.

I am suspecting it's because i didn't have Aphra with me (i got her pretty late in the game) when i did "Attacks on Caravans" and it broke the quest line? Does anyone know anything about this?

I'm in exactly the same boat as you are. I also ended up getting Aphra quite late. Feels like I know nothing about the Bridge Alliance and have just quested for Theleme the entire game.

Tried to talk with both Governor Burhan and Captain Reinhild with Aphra in company but they have nothing to say. I'm now all out of side quests and the only main story quest I can do is Treason! which seems way late game.

Hello,

Please just continue playing the game. A lot of side quests get unlocked as you progress in the main questline.

Also you might want to talk regularly with the different key characters (espetially the gouvernors) to see if they don't have a quest to give you.

Ah, yes. I see now. I got the follow-up quest now. Thank you for clarifying. I was afraid that I had missed something important.
