Combat wise its very Souls-like for me... excluding the stamina bar.
I got it on sale and I have to say it is a diamond in the rough. I say get it if you want something Skyrim...ish mixed with some old school Bioware flare
its worth much much more.
Much better than I would have thought, much better than the reviews suggested.
What did I like so much:
The graphics, very nice scenery and the partially given paths why hardly visible (except on the map).
all conversations were well dubbed, may be standard, I still found very good
the story, the missions found you really good also the DLC "de vespe conspiracy"
I liked the characters, both the Companions and the other characters you met and talked to you.
The system with the camps and the carts, so at a certain point to have less legwork was a good idea
The possibility of either real-time or stop (space) battles is excellent. Not everyone is fast enough when playing in real time (I fought mostly in real time but sometimes with the space button). Had I used it more often the fights would have been easier, but on Easy they were just that mostly easy enough for a casual player.
I'm pretty sure I'll play through it at least a second time (then maybe my cousin won't at the end.....).
Typical spider's game
It's a mediocre game with alot of wasted potential
I hope one day they will finally release their "mass effect" and not screw up
