Stasis is OP
I started the game with a magic build and halfway through switched to Strength build with 2H heavy weapons. Ended with 5 points in Strength, 2 points Agility, 3 points in Endurance, 4 points in Mental (never found a rank 5 mental ring!!) and 2 Willpower.

Quickly found out that stasis, especially with the duration buff necklace is insanely broken. Every enemy and boss in the game can be frozen and then hit for extra damage. Rinse and repeat. Only vs certain enemies that had a large HP pool and could stunlock somewhat was there any challenge. What comes to mind is the lizard type enemy with their tailsweep attack and the 4th fight at the max difficulty in the battle arena. The one vs the soldiers. But then there's the abilty called Storm which puts ALL enemies in stasis and reduces their resistances too. Of course it's a fury attack so you can't spam it like Stasis.

Nearly every enemy that had high armor would die with 2 hits from Shadow Burst. Huge AoE magic blast centered around your character. Made the game super easy.

But stasis just broke the game. There was no boss fight where the boss could hit me unless I made a stupid mistake. Dodging is already easy as it has a very decent invuln frame. I think the timing should be more difficult to pull off and not able to spam it, but it is what it is.

For Greedfall 2, they need to look at stasis and dodging. Both of these make it so you remain basically untouched in boss fights. I felt like a God in most fights. Even at low levels. So they should definitely be retuned and maybe make certain bosses immune to it or something.

Yes, stasis is OP. But it has severely decreased duration on bosses, they are affected for less than 1 sec.

But since hit boxes and the movement are really clunky, Stasis is kinda must on higher difficulties.

However, people actually recommend firearms (technician skills) for the highest difficulty, so I guess staying away from the enemy while being able to deal significant damage with each shot is even more OP.

With the boosts I was able to stasis the bosses for several seconds. Long enough to cast 2 self buffs. So basically I used stasis, used whatever spell I needed and had enough time to walk up to the boss to hit them. And with stasis applied you could deal 50% more damage. So it was stasis + heavy attack to deal massive damage on boss with no counterplay from the boss.

You can also get the skill to count weapons with stasis.

I did not get that skill because I lacked skillpoints to go that route even at max level. But maybe for another playthrough. This time I went heavy weapons and full Strength and magic. So no agility based weapons and no guns or anything from that side of the skilltree. Although I'm not sure if the game warants a second playthrough if the game plays out exactly the same every time.
