Can't start De Vespe Conspiracy

Heya!

I can't start the De Vespe Conspiracy DLC, despite being able to read the letter, having the DLC installed (and tried to re-install it). I only get the "Buy now on Steam" message but can't start any quest. As mentioned I have the DLC installed and have bought it, on steam. Any ideas?

I have tried to start the game with and without mods

Several of us are dealing with that issue and have been posting on a different thread I'm on windows 10 using no mods i have reinstalled two times, ran a repair, checked and unchecked the box and swiped my cache and i have had the same problem since the first day so far no one on tech supports end have acknowledged us

I have the same issue, also using Win10 without mods.

Well that sucks, yeah I'm on Win 10 aswell.

One thing that worries me is that they seem to always assume people are using the mods and thats the issue (it isnt), and we never get any real bug update.

I'm going to try to refund the DLC then re-buy it through the game, through the letter. Will let you guys and gals know how it goes.

Right, update: Can't test it out since the game sees played time on the game as a whole as "played DLC time" not simply the DLC-game time of which I have none. In other words I have played Greedfall too much to be able to refund since I got the DLC.

I really hope Spiders will fix this, getting a bit annoyed.

I too cannot really start it. Though the letter activates the Quest for me, Lady Morage has no dialogue option for it. I tried multiple times right until before the point of no return.

Edit: Well I'm stupid, some mod seems to have prevented it from triggering, it works now :)

Yeah not the same problem for us the quest won't just activate, nevertheless, I'm happy you managed to fix yours =)

Having the same issue. Pick up the letter and it just tells me to buy the DLC even though I already have. Tried several re-installations and verifying game files so far no luck.

No and there's been no word from the devs at all
very frustrating

That or bombard them on twitter, but yeah. I'm getting frustrated (well I'm already there).
