De Vespe Conspiracy DLC not working

I'm well past the quest chain's required to load the DLC, but when I enter my house/camp and interact with the letter, it tells me to buy the DLC to gain access to it. I already own it and have no idea why this is not working. Help?

I've done that twice, verified my game files, closed steam completely and opened it again, etc. It's just not working, and I'm not the only one having this problem. It seems like the update is bugged.

Are you using Windows 7? Seems there's a lot of problems with that OS. I finished the DLC and all the achievements and zero problems (Windows 10).

I am encountering this exact same problem. I am honestly losing my mind over this. I have tried everything, reinstalling steam, reinstalling the whole game ... nothing.

Yeah, it's a little obvious now(other posts about the dlc not working) that the dlc has a hiccup in it that makes it so it doesn't function properly for some people. Guess we just have to wait for a fix to this.

Have you tried unchecking the DLC and then load the game. Exit the game and recheck the DLC box. That worked for me in another game.

There is no solution atm. This bug is caused by using mods, it's unclear which ones are causing it, and the developers are aware of the issue and working on it.
The only thing you can do is start a new game or load a save game from before the DLC release.

I have discovered that it is each conversation with Lady Morange about the de Vespe family that does not trigger. So I removed the mods, verified the game and had the conversation with her. After leaving her I put the mods back in and played as normal. Each time you need to talk to her about the DLC content just rinse and repeat. It only added about 15 minutes to the length of the play time for the DLC.
