Gamespot Review : 5/10
According to the "prestigious" website, the games has blasè and common-place written everywhere.

Are things about to get dicey?

Excuse me, I have to put in pause and take some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ antidote.

IGN gave it 8.2/10. So who cares.
Only importance is that I liked it, dont care about others.

The only comments about the game people should read is the steam comments good and bad ones, thats the best way to know a game not by reading some article on megazines that can easely lie just because someone is afraid of this game been actually good been made from a small team

Depends though. For less well known game the steam comment isnt indication of the average consumer, but of either genre snob or dev's fans

In all honesty, 5/10 seems to me a bit too low.

I mean, a game can be full of stereotypes, and still be fun to play.

Since when do i care what ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ says about the game. I never listen to them or ign.
ACG is my reviewer.

Average rpg, average score. Gamespot speaks truth for once.

yeh thats true, but i will take the words of a big group of steam reviews anyday against these articles, everything is about money nowadays, we can only trust on someones negative but well constructed comment about the game, i mean, thats how i usually choose games and im dont regreat.

I choosed this game after reading some negative points about it but for me wasnt enough against the good point of the game, and till now i agreed with the negative point BUT im glad i bought it.

I bought this game based on a bad review here on steam, since the game they compared it to as being 'just as bad as', I actually liked. XD

Gamespot is at the bottom of the metacritic reviews. Honestly, I'd fire the reviewer(or make them write a new review). Sure the game has issues, but it's a competent epic rpg, that alone is worth 7/10. (I'd rate it 85%) I wouldn't be surprised if something else is responsible for the poor review. (reviewer didn't play it, or was mad at somebody)
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Exactly what is it you want to be discussed here?

Fire? I think the reviewer is a freelance writer. I get the feeling that they piecemeal out their reviews based on some criteria that has little to do with suitability of the reviewer.

I miss the old days of PC gamer Magazine. The first thing I always read was the RPG column by Deslock (I believe was the name). You knew that when you read a review of an RPG game written by Deslock that you were getting the thoughts of a true RPG fan.

Nowadays, you usually have no idea who the heck is reviewing the game, what their background is, what their gaming preferences are, or whether they have an agenda they are trying to push.
