Vasco Romance - bug or wrong story point?

I did all the quests of Vasco and used the right dialogue options. Vasco even asked for a date with my character which I accepted. My character told him they will meet when they are in the house for the next time.
The problem is: I now was a lot of times in one of De Sardets houses, but nothing triggers. I had Vascos quests done really early in the story when I haven't met Aphra and Petrus yet. So I wonder if it's a bug that the last scene won't trigger or if I have to be more into the story. Did a lot of quests now, but still nothing. The only main story quest I have at the moment is the one with the cult.
Do I need to do more quests or is it a bug?

When you are at your house, go upstairs, it triggers as soon as you walk into the bedroom.

Then I would say its bugged because once he asked you to meet him, walking into the bedroom should trigger it.

The quests not the problem. It can easily be done. But did you choose the right dialogue after every of his quest? You should see a +2 reputation if chosen the correct one. If not, you chose the wrong one. Or maybe a bug. IDK.

I had all the right choices. Saw a video of someone and had used the same choices. I already accepted the date, but then nothing triggers.
So it's not the problem of the main story and a bug? :(

Try starting a new character and just focusing on his quests and try to get to the date with as little else as possible and see if it triggers then.

Hi Sakito, I had exactly the same problem but with Kurt, he asked my char for a date and no matter how may times or ways she went in and out of the bedroom, no romance scene has triggered.
Im a bit frustrated because she didnt get any romance chat with Vasco because she must have said the wrong thing somewhere back. So Kurt was the last chance. This has to be a bug. Did Vasco ask for a date while in the bedroom? I think thats where Kurt asked my character out.

By the way the romance triggered with Kurt just after the Treason main questline so quite well into the story for me.

That happened to me as well, and with Kurt. Date was asked and accepted, but nothing triggered the scene after it.

Sorry you’re experiencing issues with the game.

Could you send us your save file? You should find it here C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\GreedFall using your File Explorer. We recommend making a manual save (with this type of name: save_xx-xx-2019_09-53-26.fsav) and sending it instead of sending an autosave file.

You can send the files to [e-mail] with a few words explaining the problem, or a link to this thread and put my username in there so it get transfered to me faster.

Please send the save right after you got asked out and your most recent save. We have no problem finishing the romances here (and most players seems to not have any problem either, so if something went wrong it was between those two points, and having both saves will help a lot finding out what or when it went wrong.

Ok, so when I went to see which save I could send, I loaded the one right after when Vasco was at the tattooist. This time I talked to him at the harbour and he asked me out for the date. I ran to the house ... and got the sequence.

At my original play I talked to him when I was in the house and bedroom when he asked me if I want a date, then I ran back out of the house (cause he said "next time where are at the house"), then walked back in and nothing happens. Not then, and not later. (Maybe it was a problem that I was in the bedroom when he asked for the date.) I now have played a lot of hours since then and hope to get this "loving" status from Vasco in my normal playthrough, too.

Shall I send you my newest savefile from yesterday? Don't know if it's of any use, because you have to believe me that I accepted the date at this point. but Vasco is still on "friendly".
