companions useless ?

companions in fights are like 90% useless ? i start a fight, companions dead in max 20 seconds, they dont dodge, nothing, just running to the enemy and dead....

Well every fight mine help me and ive stood back and seen,,keep the girl she regenerates your health during combat!

got the girl in my team, which diffecuilty you are playing on ? because my companions are dying in seconds, so she cant even heal.

have you been upgrading their gear? Mine are great. They are smart enough not to break anything in stasis and keep aggro pretty well. Yes, Siora helps regenerate health. Maybe you just don't notice it.

they have good gear, ya i know that she normaly heals, but shes dying so fast she cant heal because of it..

I am only playing on normal, and you are right about the dodging, that is something that can get them in big trouble, but I find them useful.
I have Siora and Asthra in my team. Sioras healing is allways welcome and Asthras grenade at the start of a fight is really helpful.

Charisma is the key.
The higher your Charisma talent, the more buffed your companions are.
On level 3 you can lean back and just let them do all the work.

Me normal to i have 40 hrs and im trying to track down the nauds supposedly reason they dont get Maliche?38 hrs. No way this game can be done in 40,,but to earn roll is kinda crazy,,if i could earn jump would be great,,but other than those two problems i find it a leisure game to pass the time,,From Spider i give it a B+

Gear them up, keep the girl, and aggro the enemies on you. They will die otherwise, but if enemies are primarily on you, companions can deal with them when it's 1v1. Im playin on extreme as mage, and kiting enemies while pumping them with magic damage is easy, while companions do the rest. In those situations that they charge on, well yeah, squish dead

My companions are invaluable. I am playing on hard difficulty, I am around level 28, and I mostly use my 6 shot pistol. I just throw bombs and shoot stuff and watch my companions tank, and they almost never go down. I found a legendary set that seemed perfect for Petrus so I use him and Siora and honestly at times I wonder if I shouldn't have just started on extreme.

at the very least they keep the enemy busy for me to even the numbers. Just got to make sure they don't get overwhelmed out of the gate. I have points in science so i can just res them if i need to too. res powder is cheap.

They're pretty useless if you're playing on extreme imo, dunno about lower difficulties. People in the thread saying they're useful are probably playing on easier difficulties. Beat the game on extreme and they would always die within the first 10-15 seconds.

same here AND they have better gear than i do so i dont understand why the companions dont do anything except yell at you about magic or healing potions.

Upgrade them. TBF i do prefer solo anyway but this game really wants you to have them.
