[Spoilers] A Question About Kurt
Is there any way to save Kurt? I defeated him whenever he betrayed us, and he shot himself after I spared him. Is there anything I can do before that mission to stop him from doing so, or is he always doomed to die there?

Thanks, I figured so, I just didn't want to go back and do them all without knowing for sure it would change it. Can I still change the outcome if I wasn't able to get his cargo on the ship before leaving for the new world, or is that one also required? I know they still get the cargo there, but I wasn't sure if I needed the rep boost with him I figured it would've given me.

His cargo shows up on the island anyway (the quest will play out the same as if you had done it, except for a unique dialogue with the quartermaster in New Serene), so I don't think it counts for anything (except missed rep with the Coin Guard, which doesn't really matter).

Save Kurt???? Well that must be a dialogue choice issue as I had Kurt from the begining to the end of the game!

The coup is entirely different if you don't do Kurt's quests (he betrays you and dies, and the Coin Guard take one of the settlements while you save the other one).

Not dialogue (romance) choice, it's sidequests accepting choice. Do what professional reviewers do, fastrun the game (finish only main quests) to get on companions' bad side.
