Petrus is a shrewd politician who built his political capital through making friends in unlikely places and backdoor dealing, not direct confrontation, show of force or populism. Atleast that's what I got from my interaction with him. He would unquestionably promote theleme interest, yes. But he will avoid situation where it comes to direct and violent confrontation. However, one must always keep their guard up while dealing with such people.
But yeah, Theleme, the Inquisition and Petrus are something I try to ignore, I actually don´t know if I will face with them in a second playthrough.
I actually always choose the options that give me negative relation with them, even if i have the skills to avoid it.
Because ♥♥♥♥ religious fanatics.
I kinda disliked all factions except natives, coin guard and nauts but played nice and friendly and then banished them all off my ppls island and let them all die miserably on the continent. >:D
Then you hate the natives too?
Do you see the natives going around killing the foreigners because they dont want to convert to their religion? Or put them in "reeducation camps"? No? Then they are not fanatics.
The whole native religion is " we live in harmony with nature, leave us alone".
You cant get more non fanatical.
