Wait you can block the bosses? I always just dodged them, I didn't even try
The biggest complaint I have about it is that dodging and sprinting use the same key, so they don't work together. You pretty much have to stand still to dodge, as trying to dodge while running makes you slow down and stagger awkwardly. I really wish they had a smooth dodge that worked whether you were moving or standing, like in the Witcher 2 and 3.
Yes, though just blocking them will likely throw you on your back. Countering will keep you standing and deal damage.
