For "theories", more lore about the old continent (Gacane) and the size of the "nations" would need to be made available somewhere as to measure and understand the scale of the war between Theleme and BA, especially their dependency on mercenaries on the old continent. Without such details it remains a mystery. It becomes obvious that the Coin Guard are hired by the three major factions in this game, but player only gets to see a tiny portion of "Serene" as part of the old continent, none of the other factions' capitals like Al Saad. I mean, the factions barely keep the balance on Teer Fradee and try to get along with eachother, and the game is not about either one invading the new colony with larger forces as to take a large scale war to the island.
About the faction symbols. The red sun is Theleme's and unrelated to the Coin Guard.
