Yes

The fogginess could most likely be an artstyle aesthetic choice, I've seen it too and I'm not really a fan.. but luckily we have post-processing tools like ReShade/FreeStyle/FidelityFX that can radically alter visuals. I tend to use ReShade to remove the "foggy" dreamlike indistinctness on many games, I have no doubt a decent preset will be out fairly soon after launch.

Depends of your rig. If you plan to run the pc version on a baked potato.. better go for the PS4 version. Maxed out the pc version will look better i guess. :lunar2019piginablanket:

The only console games that look and play better than PC are console exclusives (because they don't exist on PC)

Not entirely correct. Games that are made for console and THEN ported to pc tend to look exactly the same on both platforms

True unless on PC there is a nice option to disable motion blur or any blur in general. Usually this option does exist on PC, when it doesn't, modders come to the rescue.

True. BUT on PC, you can make use of 3rd party and external solutions (mods, Nvidia settings, ect.) to improve the game's visuals beyond what they are in the port, unlike consoles.

Barring obscenely bad ports, PC graphics will always look superior, if only for the higher resolution and framerate. 4k @ 60 fps will blow 1080p@30 fps out of the water every time.

Then, PC ports will often have higher resolution textures available (which the consoles can't handle), improving visual fidelity even more.

Finally, PC has mod communities that can upgrade graphics by an incredible amount. E.g. PC Skyrim with high-definition and high-polygon mods, together with an ENB or Reshade, looks miles better than non-modded PC Skyrim, not to mention the console version.

Most pc versions have additional graphic features actually.
In fact, most graphic engine have various built in features that are disabled before the game went on console.

You can't adjust all the settings on a console usually so yeah.

What a weird question, you think a Console can compete with a PC, for customizable options :)
