Pest Control Mission in Vedrad

So I accepted the missions from the bulletin board in the Bridge Alliance's outpost and the one called "Pest Control" has you kill 4 Foxes that live around the camp.
So it looks like the quest might be buggy because it seems I'm stuck at 3/4 and no new fox kill changes that. I've both waited for them to respawn multiple times and checked every corner in the vicinity...

same killed three but i think i found the fourth its southwest of the south fox if that makes sense just south of the hut

do you mean the tent? ...also I think right before I even started the mission I missed a fox that was right outside that rift in the rock that leads into the camp - the fox never respawned so maybe I won't be able to finish the quest at all...

The 4 foxes are at specific points on the area, you need to find them at the good place, a respawn won't count as a new fox !

i have been trying to find the 4th fox for the last hour and i think quest might be bugged :D i think i know where foxes should be (near the poultry carcasses). one is east from the camp (in the sneaking tunnel), one is south from the camp (near the woods), one is a little bit more south (near the rock), and the fourth should be west of the camp (between the camp and small rock formation). now, i've killed first 3 foxes and they respawn but i can't find the western fox. also, there is a dead fox in the ruins south west from the camp. i tried reloading, exiting the game, going to the different zone and coming back... and it's always 3/4 foxes and i can't find the one in the west. pls hepl :D

So, could you check that you went to the following position :

-East of the camp, in front of the rocks tunnel
-South of the camp, following the dirt road like if you wanted to go back to Siora's village, on your right close from the woods
-South of the camp, following the dirt road like if you wanted to go back to Siora's village, there is a little grass field on your left (a bit more south than the previous one)
-On the right of the grass field west of the camp

I think the only one missing for me is the one in front of the tunnel - haven't been there again for a few ingame days but last I checked the fox hadn't respawned. So I'm hoping for the best

That fox will move through the tunnel and outside. Start inside the fort and go through the tunnel to flush him and then you'll ensure you nail it.

If I go a little more south from the last one there are no dead kills nor foxes. Going further South there are just rocky walls unless you go very far South (Vasrigen area) and I'm guessing that is not where they are at? Maybe this one is bugged??

Another guide I've seen talked about how Location 4 was buggy for him (he played on console tho)

for me one of the foxes is not spawning. I saw also on the internet that others have the same problem. with other spawn locations mine is -South of the camp, following the dirt road like if you wanted to go back to Siora's village, on your right close from the woods.

I agree that this must be a bug -- 3/4 foxes -- the last one just isn't respawning, and I've checked all four locations with a bird carcass described in the video many times now.

I will keep re-checking, but if this is indeed a bug, I hope it can be fixed. Unsolvable quests is a nightmare for completionists; I really want that quest log to be empty when I finish the game.

Same here; 3/4 and the only fox that I can't seem to find is the first fox in the video above. Been through that area multiple times from both ends and can't seem to trigger it spawning. :(

just wanna say that i actually got all 4 foxes. its my 2nd run - in the 1st run i missed the fox western of the camp. found all by myself - if a fox escaped try to do the same 1 or 2 ingame days later (always near a bird carcass) - they should respawn like the other monsters/ enemies.
actually the q is not that important, just gives some xp (100 if remember right) and a bit gold (like 50 i think) ... and theres no achievement for doin all that contract missions :D
