Best late game exp farming area?
I want to eventually max out all my skills, if I calculated right, I should max out talents around lv 72 or around there. Ive searched through google but it just gives a place right outside San matheus, and at my current lv of 29 just by exploring, that barely moves my exp bar.

So far Ive gotten a ton of exp by avoiding the main quest and doing every possible sidequest and clearing all the areas of the maps, but I think Im around act 2 now and Ive run out of exploring. What are some quickly farmed enemies that give good exp neat a campfire for lategame farming?

just a head up, there was a thread with someone saying something about not getting talent points after a certain level or something

You will not get anything after level 46, so your grand plans of reaching level 72 is not something plausible/possible. The arena or respawning certain areas via campfire sleeping is the best way to earn experience, in my opinion.

Developers greatly limited maximum levels on purpose to limit your playstyle and hope you replay the game multiple times... It's actually pretty shoddy to do it that way since they won't be bothered to further tune the game and it's RPG mechanics and involve better content than what you have already (you can 'complete' part of quest objectives before you even start them, and BREAK your game easily).

So if you like to explore a lot and end up 'picking up' quest items before they are required, you easily can break your game.

Challenge 5, Wave 1~3 gives so little EXP it's not worth the grind actually... Doing side quests often gives you enough EXP over time to get to the max level possible, so I'd suggest you to try to finish the Arena challenges first to reap the benefit.

I basically hit lv15 before I even meet all the faction's leaders.

What I also found stupid in the game's design is that there is only ONE freaking coin arena, and that all faction's inns lets you 'WARP' to it in their basement.

Except there's nothing indicating as such. You can continue leveling past 46 and just not receive anything of any value (health points, skill points, attribute points, talent points). I'm thinking oversight at this point if not a bug.

Hell, the help notes don't ever state that there's a cap on level or progression in any way.

Agree to disagree. If you're smart about what arena challenges you pick (Based on what your character is capable of doing), then you'll gain more experience points than just regular questing by a long shot. However, it would be "grinding", which some players may find boring if they're not experimenting in some way with the game's combat.

Poison Bombing Challenge 5, Wave 2 mobs grants more experience than trying to kill 1 tough sub-boss for the final wave, due to a minimum EXP granted per kill and greater EXP gain from higher leveled enemies...

It's only human enemies in that wave (I'm lv20) that seems to be highly leveled in that they can mow through your HP even with your very high armor. They seem to be artificially boosted.

I'm honestly not sure what point you're trying to make or if you're attempting to attack a straw man.

I completed a lot of missions before I found the mission board. Someone of them ask me to kill non respawning enemies that are long dead lol.
