I've reached New Serene now, and nobody has mentioned what it is, or read anything why you have it. Its like they all pretend it isnt there. it might seem like they are being considerate or wont say anything cause it appears you are a noble. But I want to know what it is :/ I feel like its being ignored at this point and time :/

Is it the plague going around ? are you infected too ?

It's a birthmark, essentially. You will learn more about it as the game progresses.

Yeah its the elephant in the room no one talks about. Its not really obvious thats what the painter is referring to when he says you have a 'singular appearance.' I honestly thought it was related to the Malichor for the longest time.

Been playing a bit now and the natives have been hinting I am one of them. Which I can only guess is cause of that green thing (Siora said the same thing when I first met her)). They dont specificly say what. I mean I made my character with white hair, pale skin. So you cant really say I look akin to them :/

Just finding the lack of the MC(player character) even acknowledging themselves, to be underwelhming :/
If its a plot device, I should at least get some explanation by now ? :/ Not just natives hinting you look like them <.<

Also there are plenty of white skinned natives, they are about as diverse as the mainland factions.

Some small spoilers:
The "green thing" in your face is a mark you get if either yourself or your parents have "bonded" yourself to the island. Its what gives the native sorcerers their magic power.
Ever asked yourself why your main character is the only person capable of magic from your faction?
The only other mainland faction with magic is Theleme and the reason for that gets also revealed later.

In your first conversation with Siora you can say that you find the birthmark to be ugly.
