7 to be precise.
1 at the beginning from the first boss, 6 more from quests and optional bosses in the world.
This game keeps every data in pack files, which are uncompressed when the game loads them, hence even on SSDs you have to wait 5-10 seconds of loading screens to 'load' a game.
The game's current allotment is reasonable. It gives some room to experiment or fine tune your build without being so trival that you respec every time you run into a door you can't unlock. :D
Its not that i respec alot, im trying to figure out what build id like, i like experimenting with different builds, and the game encurages this, just feel the options ingame to do as they suggest and experiment is limited, and dont really for me live up to the "feel free to experiment part".
ill look into this, thank u :)
Do u have a link to that mod?
Please be carefull when using mods or modifying your save files, wealready got quite a lot of "bug" report from people who used mods or midifed their save and broke the quests, making it impossible for them to finish the game without reloading a save prior to their tempering.
We know it's usually common knowledge in modding communities, but because of those report wasting QA and Devs time we feel like it's important to remind that point to players.
On another note, I recommend going to the arena in the taverns, saving, using a crystal to try a new build, and load back that save if this new build don't please you.
Best Regards.
But the whole reload game to experiment is wrong tbh, why not just make a vendor that sells them? its still optional if ppl want to use the vendor or not.
Yea, I don't really understand what the issue is. For those that don't want to use them, they don't have to. Perhaps even include it in the options menu as a "legacy" choice for those that don't want to see them at the vendors
Gameplay-wise, this makes you omnipotent in a sense that you could craft your lv3 upgrades, then re-spec and pass a very hard speech check, re-spec again and open the lv3 chest after climbing a lv3 vigour test and finally reverting back to your original build.
If you don't understand the problem with the paragraph above in terms of gameplay and choice, and how it creates variety and replayability, then just mod your game and be careful with your save.
