To produce "UI Element" you need (Designer needs):
1 Blueprint Component
1 Graphic Component
The Designers make both Blueprint Component and Graphic Component so I have many of those.
The problem is what happens to the "UI Element" that was made without the presence of Lead Developer (the only person who might be using them), because it doesn't seem to stack in my inventory.
UI Set
Responsive UI
Design Guidelines
All of these are made by designers and all of these require UI Elements to make.
It's basically 1st week of game.
I had couple of people, couple of desks, almost no research, and UI Elements kept disapearing.
I'm 100% sure I wasn't using them.
Was just wondering if that happened to anyone else.
I've had similar problems but with my Lead Developer. Various components I *watched* them complete disappeared after completion and they'd try to start again until they were missing components. At first I thought I was mismanaging something but after keeping an eye on it I'm 100% sure it's some kind of bug. Restarted to make sure and had the same problem within the first couple weeks of gameplay.
I've noticed the same thing after starting a new game. Now there are fewer staff, it's easier to find that components are missing right after being made. Have noticed this with lead developers and designers.
I tried reproducing the bug, but with no luck. Here's what I did:
1. Started new savegame (Career Mode).
2. Hired 1x Developer and 1x Designer.
3. Configured my Designer's queue to: Blueprint, Graphics, Blueprint, Graphics, UI Element (to allow upgrading Landing Page).
4. Allowed game to run for 10 days and kept upgrading Landing Page.
The result is 3 UI elements in stock: https://i.imgur.com/5P88JzA.jpg
I noticed themck mentioning a -2 consumption of UI Elements. I wonder what the UI Set stock is? UI Sets require exactly 2 UI Elements and can be produced without a Lead Developer.
If anyone can provide instructions on how to reproduce, or a savegame containing the problem, that would be greatly appreciated. My email is jonas@hovgaard.com.
Best,
Jonas
