Automation ?
Is there a way to automate lower ranked employees to fill the needs of higher ranked employees? Like If I set a lead developer to build X and it requires sub components, can it be done?

The Manager should do this for you. Hire a Manager and give him control over these workers. Then Plan how many of ech recource you want to have in stock and every controlled worker should try to reach that goal.

I usually do a 4,2,1 approach with my management levels since they won't auto assign needed parts to be made.

Beginner components I make sure to have my target stock number let's say at 2,000. Then my intermediate would be set at 500, with my expert st 250.

I also do the same with component producing teams. I have a few teams working just on the beginner components, another couple teams working on intermediate and a couple more on expert.
good tip. The dev's should really do a better job explaining that to people or streamlining the process.. I refunded the game last night because the amount of micromanagement was obscene. Thanks for the replies.

I think that's what the main allure of the game is - the micromanagement. Sorry to see you go, it's a pretty cool game once you get the hang of it. Once you research managers also, the pain of micromanaging gets a little bit less.

I dont mind a bit, but the first encounter people get from the game is a bit overboard. The dev's would prolly be wise to consider that and find a solution so newer players like me dont say screw it and return it while you still have two hours or less played.

I understand that. It can be a bit much at first. Did you try the tutorial? Or using the investor? That acts as a step by step to get the basics. There's also a pretty good community on these forums and in Discord as well.
I did the tutorial thing. I followed (amy?) or whatever her name was guiding me step by step. I was making a game platform like steam and by the time I was loading up my 2nd advancement to my website I was ready to pull my hair out with the micro.
