It's currently not customizable. Is there anything specific you're looking for?

i don't really have a preference, Maybe make it clickable by pressing enter? Thanks though
Hi,
On that subject, I do have a few that I'd like to see:
-When opening a tab of an employee, be able to toggle between the different tabs using arrows, numbers, whatever. This'd allow for quicker navigation. This could be as simple as 1-2-3 for example. Could also be, for example a lead developper: M-T-S. 1-2-3 tho would work just fine. That or using F1 F2 F3...
On that point, any menus in the game that has tabs (employee screen/recruitment/candidates) should have these hotkeys too to quickly switch between the different tabs.
-When the tab of an employee is opened, there should be a hotkey for the intermediate desk upgrade and 1 for the expert one and both hotkeys should work regardless of the tab you're on (could be I and E). Basically, you click that hotkey and it tells you if you wanna upgrade, cancel or confirm. This'd make for upgrading a bunch of desks much faster.
-Also, when in tab of an employee, pressing "T" should start the training for that employee even if you arent on the training screen. There should be no pop up either asking you cancel or confirm as no cost is attached to that. Click "T" once, it starts training, click again, it stops. Also, "U" for upgrading to intermediate and expert (dia box for this one).
-When in an employee tab, clicking a hotkey to send him on a 1 day off, another hotkey for 3 days, with dia box to confirm. Could be 1 and 3, while moving thru an employee's tab could be done using F1-F2-F3.
-Any dialog box in the game that pops up and ask you to cancel or confirm, you should also have 2 hotkeys for these: ESC for cancel and enter for confirm: using the mouse is too slow. Again, it'd make things much faster when you do things in masses.
This includes the dia box from the employee screen (when unlocking component for an employee), the ones from the contract screen, all dia box there is in the game...
For the contracts, you shouldnt have to use the mouse unless you wanna change the hourly rate you wanna put.
Also, whenever a salesman gets a contract, you shouldnt have to click on it to open it, a hotkey for this would be nice. Maybe "O"?
-There should be hotkeys for all the menus to quickly access them: buying stuff, load, employee, whatever... It can be a simple F1, F2, F3 and so on or "P" for the purchase stuff screen, "F" for finances, doesnt matter: B-F-I-C-E-P would be nice, simply rename the purchase items by buy items. The competitors screen isnt a biggie as far as hotkey goes. "L" from the mainscreen should send you to the loans windows directly. "R" to recruitment screen and then, a hotkey for candidates also (N for newcomers? Not sure which key it should be for this one). "A" as in advantages would go to the benefits screen and "U" to buildings upgrade screen.
I think thats it for now ;)
Btw, quite a nice game you got going. I'd like to see difficulty levels or something to have a bigger challenge but that shouldn't be the focus now. Best to keep developing the game, add/adjust features and stuff...
Btw, regarding tiers, maybe slow down the way XP is working atm: you can pretty much get to the biggest building by day 25 atm and hit 180 employees by day 45 or so as getting XP is too easy.
Thanks,
Mark
Click "print screen", open Paint and paste.
Thank you very much for your ideas. I am receiving a lot of suggestions, but I'm doing my best to consider everything when planning out new betas.
I recommend checking out https://ideas.startupcompanygame.com both for submitting suggestions but also voting for what you would like to see in the future.
Thanks again for your time!
Best,
Jonas
copy paste and cut u know?
If you hold down shift, you can place multiple of the same item (desks, plants, walls, etc.)
Is that what you're looking for?
I'd like to copy paste for example 4 desks formation to other place without selecting the desk from the menu and holding shift to insert multiple items.
Cut would be also awesome especially if it remembers the employees assigned to the desks.
Thanks,

Not really, but let me try:
TAB: Switch between hosting/office building
ENTER: Confirm any awaiting confirmation message
ESC: Cancel any dialog, task or go to main menu.
WASD: Pan camera
Delete/Backspace: Delete selected item/furniture
R: Rotate selected item
Space: Pause
1,2,3: Set page speed
Page up: Move one floor up
Page down: Move one floor down
Q (when employee menu open): Jump to previous employee
E (when employee menu open): Jump to next employee
+/-: Zoom in/out
I believe that's all of them :-)
Best,
Jonas
