Retirement Tax range?
Finding information on this game is impossible, because google results show only actual startup company information, not stuff pertaining to this game.

The retirement tax always seems to be excessively high, 40-45%. Is that the range, or can it be less?

Yes they are! they even get up to around 80%. You might want to boy out all investors first before adding any amount to your retirement fund as they take a big chunk

Yeah, I already bought them out once the milestone rewards became less than my daily income is so I wasn't going to miss them.

I'm kind of stuck in my game right now though, it takes me several days to buy a single server rack worth of servers due to the component cost (I have 32 expert level sys admins) and many more to buy 100 levels worth of features. Plus I get hit by DDoS attacks constantly, often two at once.

I should probably move into the largest office, but I don't really look forward to the micromanagement of hiring another floor's worth of staff and getting them trained up since the difference between raising up a beginner to expert or just hiring an expert is so massively huge.

That said, there probably isn't much point in negotiating pay since if you get a good rate and train them up, they immediately get an offer from another company and you have to give them a big raise anyways.

I get you, in this game you have to wait sometime to reach a new step on the amount of money and power you have. My advice is really focus on getting money (keep happy above 60 and have 2 video ads with the highest possible CPM by choosing a contract that initially pays 8.40 or 8.60 and then negotiation from 15 to 12.40 or even up to 12.70)

When you have a good cash flow, you should be able to really ignore how much an employee costs, and focus on them having a high percentage (when you hire it give you two percentages, focus on the grayed out one, and hire only people above 350%.

And like IRL tech companies, you don't have to make a profit. keep using venture capital to pay out old venture, and don't fret on just firing every one and be just you and a couple sales execs to make money if you're really deep in debt, or you wanna have complete control of the company.

Also, hire manages and HR managers, they'll make employees faster and also keep them happy by doing 7 hour days. My structure is 3 employees per manager, 2 managers per HR, all experts. this keeps production really high, and you can have instead of 30 sys admins, just around 8 with just a tad less production., You can also make teams, have 2 teams do beginner modules, 1 team intermediate and 1 team expert, and put the highest production guys including managers and HR on the beginner to avoid bottleneck production.,

Edit: I looked into it, and it seems better performance wise to actually hire in groups of 3 beginners with high percentage (at least 195% or even better 200%), with 1 manager beginner (same percentage). Train them up to expert and they are around 80% more productive. Same thing as before, 1 HR for every 2-3 managers

Put less money and over a longer range of time and this will actually keep your taxes down. The tax rate increases for the amount of money you deposit per year starting at a base rate of 40%. When my tax rate resets at the beginning of the year I start depositing money in about 1 million at a time into my retirement account until my taxes move up to 41%. At that point I decide whether it is worth it to deposit any more money that year, knowing that any more money I choose to deposit that year(until your tax rate resets) will be at a higher tax rate and the more money that year I deposit the higher the tax rate will be on that money. I usually keep a few 10 million around for when this resets I’m free to just deposit as much as I would like and decide my own tax rate. I hope that helps because it’s a pretty simple metric.
