QoL: Desk upgrade
Hi there,

really enjoying the game so far but I'm now at the stage where I want to transition from intermediate desks to expert and specialist desks. Unfortunately there does not seem to be a option to upgrade desks.

So I have to unassign every single employee, delete the old desk, buy a new one and seat them. This becomes very very tedious when you have 80+ employees.

I noticed that there is an option to upgrade racks so I would love to see a similiar option for desks.

There's an option only to upgrade the desks via each individual's stat page.

However, the upgrade can only go from desks of the same size... Beginner - intermediate - expert.

Since the executive and programmer desk is not the same size, these need to be done manually. I usually reserve these for my one or two teams of experts that I put in the fancy offices upstairs.

But yes, I agree that I wish there was an "upgrade all" button or something of that nature foe when you have dozens of employees.

Thanks, didn't see that button at first.

It did help a bit, but yeah..still annoying having to do it for every employee.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the suggestion! This could be added to the employees menu, however it would only work for same-size desks. It might be hard to make the UI intuitive.

Make sure to suggest the feature via Conflux. That way I can easily recognize which features are requested the most: https://ideas.startupcompanygame.com

On the other hand it might be easier to implement a move function. So a employee can be transfered from his desk to another free desk.

If worker need begginer desk and i give him expert desk then its okay, its count as a bonus for worker. but if worker need expert desk and i give him programer desk then bonus does not count. is that feature or bug?

It's based on whether or not the employee actually has it in their needs or wants section on the stats tab.

Some employees will demand it for the boost, others don't seem to care haha.

I know that, Bill, but if emploee asking expert desk and i give him programer desk, then boost does not count
