A year is 365 days.
Any way to change it in any setting? :D

I thought the same when I first saw the 50 day long years, but man, the game would get REALLY long with 365 days. It takes me about 10 hours to get through to retirement now, with 365 days it would take 70 hours.

I personally wouldn't change from the default, but it might be an idea other people like having. There's a pinned post at the top of the forum with a link to make suggestions for changes to the game. Ideas are voted on and the most popular ones (within reason) are considered for inclusion in the game.

With a 365 day per year system, you could keep adding things. It would make more sense. Maybe add a 5x button and make the numbers more realistic.

I'd personally find it a bit grindy to go to 365 days, but some people may enjoy that. You could suggest it as an idea at https://ideas.startupcompanygame.com/boards/feature-requests to see what the community thinks.

There's also a Discord server (invite link is in a pinned post) where you could discuss it with fellow Startup Company players to see what sort of reception you'd get.

You can adjust that from the save file. There should be a line that contains "daysPerYear" and a setting. Alter that number to 365 and years will tick by in realtime.

Be noted though it will alter the age of your CEO. When I did the change it made my CEO 5 years old. I had to find my CEO and adjust his day in ages. Also, common error I made was adding a comma in the number - don't do that - or the save file wont work until you remove it.
This was very confusing to me when it came to the new research projects. The projects claimed it would take "700 days" to research, which should be about 2 years for real life, but in the game it was significantly more (especially when dealing with retirement age, etc). I don't think this was made clear enough in the game itself.

Very good informations.
I set the number on 350 daysPerYear. Its mean the age os my CEO must set by "7000" to reach 20 years old. (20 x 350 weeks = 7000 weeks = 20 years)
