Devs "updated" the game, broke controller support, then ghosted to make a $equel. Not worth your time or money. Hard pass.

Second time I'm playing it through, first time was on Switch.

It's ... fine. It's fine? It's a pretty basic roguelite with dungeon generation similar to Rogue Legacy, in that you're experiencing the same pre-designed room layouts with different tilesets, with similar-yet-different enemies in those new rooms.

The storekeeper side of things is also quite basic, and trends into the nonsensical once you reach the endgame, where you're able to sell stacks of items for tens to hundreds of thousands of gold ... in a town which has been narratively set up as impoverished due to the dungeons being closed? And it's less than a month of in-game time since the dungeons were re-opened?

So it's ... fine. It's just fine. 7/10. Good if you get it for real cheap, otherwise, give it a pass.
