Conversion pack install help?

I'm getting a bit bored of the core Battlefront II game and I'd really like to install the conversion pack because I've heard great things about it. Most the websites I've seen it on all talk about the disc version of the game and not the Steam version. This is where my questions begin, it says for it to work properly you need patch 1.1 installed but the Steam version of the game is already 1.1.. so if I install Conversion Pack 3 (which i think is the latest one) it should work? But then, how do I install it and where? Please help as my previous download history with computers has really not gone well but all I need is an actual step by step 101 for idiots on how to get this working with Steam and so on. Thanks!

The latest Conversion Pack is 2.2. Yes, it will work with the Steam version which is 1.1.

Download the Conversion Pack 2.0 here[starwarsbattlefront.filefront.com].
Installing it is easy as it comes with an automatic installer.

When installing make sure you change the install directory to 'C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData' (Program Files (x86) for 64 bit users), otherwise it will automatically install to the LucasArts folder.

Once it has installed run the game to make sure it has worked (the Instant Action Menu should contain a lot more maps).

Then download the 2.2 Patch here[starwarsbattlefront.filefront.com].
Again make sure when installing it to change the install directory to the Steam folder.

You will now have the up to date version of the Battlefront Conversion Pack.

Nope, no luck. Installed it into the correct directory but nothing has changed

Sorry for not mentioning before, during the installation you have to browse to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II and the installer will add on the Game Data part. Either that or type in the location directly. That may be the problem.

When I installed it, it said C:\ProgramFiles\Steam\SteamApps\Common\StarWarsBattlefrontII\GameData\GameData Was that right? or should I have typed it in and left it after the Battlefront II folder?

Okay, yeah it shouldn't have had that last GameData. I would recommend going into the GameData folder (the first one) and deleting the duplicate inside. Then try reinstalling the Conversion Pack, and make sure it only says C:\ProgramFiles\Steam\SteamApps\Common\StarWarsBattlefrontII\GameData

What do you mean by not installing? Did you try doing what I said above?

Mine installed and it worked fine meaning it has all of the maps and stuff but when i click on ad maps it doesnt work... Help anyone?

Yeah some of the maps on mine don't work, like, on the loading screen to Concord Dawn or some other one, the game just closes. But it's not really a big deal for me. Rest of it works fine!

you need to install the conversion 2.0 mod then the 2.2 patch
