Jedi library help

So, I'm at this mission where I need to defend the library, but those fcking jedi come in so quickly and destroy it in like one second! I don't stand a chance! How the ♥♥♥♥ am I supposed to beat this?!

I know, and I did do that, but then those jedi came in like 3 at the same time, destroying the shelf, and the other stormtroopers were fighting all the way in the big hall like a bunch of idiots, and my shotgun is way too slow to kill them all

Argh, I'd hoped you hadn't tried that yet... Aside from repairing and using your one shot kill shotty and focusing on a single shelf, there's not much else I can think of for advice... Unfortunately, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ part is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I've beat this mission multiple times.
Repairing always works. Make sure to kill them with your shotgun once they get near

Yeah, I found this mission quite difficult, too, but after a few tries, and trying a few tactics, I eventually succeeded.

By the way, can you call any other soldiers to help you? In the non-story mode you can do so, at least once you get enough kills (perhaps in earlier battles?).

It's been a few years since I did it, but if I remember correctly, that's what I did, too - focussed on keeping one bookshelf safe, and did a LOT of killing - it was very chaotic and required speedy reactions, if I remember correctly.

It's been a few years since I did it, but if I remember correctly, that's what I did, too - focussed on keeping one bookshelf safe, and did a LOT of killing - it was very chaotic and required speedy reactions, if I remember correctly.

What I found worked for me was to immediately book it (HA!) for the back left corner by the recovery droid. While stationed there with a standard trooper, I could pick off any Jedi who were trying to get to either of the back three bookcases. It also meant I could easily heal as well. It seems the game AI brings my allies back to that corner when I do this and that means the battle takes places by the front stairs into the library. This strategy worked for me two times in a row (the first time I failed later in the mission so I had to replay). Good luck! I hope this helps!

My tactic was being a heavy trooper and dropping mines on either side of a bookcase and shooting rockets at their feet if they came near.

my biggest issue isn't the library (shooting them in the back works wonders i also only use the basic trooper there the repair doesn't last long and your shotgun is way too slow to kill (the ai is borderline useless so don't rely on them either)) it's having to kill the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jedi masters (i swear Anakin always gets ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ one shot by the master holding the last holocron so i can't use him in the last section)
