How is the difficulty?
How tough is it to beat everything?
I like shoot em ups but most are pretty unfair...hopefully this is not emulating stuff like mushimesama or crimzon clover on arcade which were designed to kill the player as often as possible to draw coins

This is the best shoot 'em up that I've played on Steam. I'm not into bullet hell shmups.

ZeroRanger is exactly what you're looking for.

Not really the same kind of genre Monolith is in, but if you're looking for a transition point into the shmup genre, ZeroRanger is the game you're looking for.

I have been waiting for it to release for around six years and playing it to completion in the span of a day, I can tell you it will stand as one of the greatest shmups of all time.

The indie scene are really doing wonders with shmups these days, Monolith and ZeroRanger are both impeccable titles.

I just beat the true true final boss...the game was amazing and monolith one of the best bosses ive seen in videogames. It has the fun part of figuring many very different patterns out without the **** near-pixelperfect precision requirement
Are there any other good shoot em ups with similarly balanced difficulty?
Enter the Gungeon?
