Border. I'd go fullscreen, but I just get a black screen.

I personally prefer bordered windows so I can mess with window size/placement. If I wanted no border I'd go fullscreen.

as long as fullscreen remains in addition, i couldnt care less. but borderless fullscreen makes games run badly on my gpu

I'm getting a black screen if try to run the game fullscreen in "tate mode".
(Only windowed is possible there. The native 1920x1080 runs without any problems in fullscreen.)

So i'm going with borderless.

Haven't bought the game yet - is the borderless mode a real "TATE" mode, i.e. rotated to be played on a vertical monitor? I'd love to play this game on my arcade cab....

i think that refers to which style of windows you'd prefer to have: with, or without window decorations?

Frankly, having the option for both would be great.

Steam screenshots don't seem to work in Monolith, so having the game in Borderless Windowed at my native resolution will facilitate taking screenshots myself.

At the same time, there are people who like to have a smaller window and drag it around.

The problem with black-screen is easly resolved by using compatibility mode. A lot of games of games show this symptomes lately. It seemes that this is a generell problem with some architecture and not due to the programmers.
