Does the tutorial actually work?

Just bought this game. Went to the tutorial.

No messages, no instructions, no explanations of what to do, just a map and some unintelligible information about loyalty, population etc. Then Castile starts attacking.

So I literally have no idea how to play this game. Am I missing an obvious way to properly launch the Tutorial?

To be honest this game doesn't need a tutorial. You can easily learn the basics after a few games.

Here's a few tips though:
Pick the best government as soon as you're able to (iirc the best govt in vanilla is fascism)

Spend your research points on admin and military costs

When in a war, be on the defense first as attacking armies lose more units than defending armies

Only buildings that are worth building are defensive structures, ports, and supply camps

An important one: Economy = your strength. Pick countries that have a weaker or equal economy of yours, and only target larger economies if you know they're weak (and have some cash to spare)
