New ways to annex a country

Its annoying that the country you wanna annex needs to be your vassal. I think you should be able to annex them without them being a vassal. There should also be an option to promote your states party or ideology in other countries, wich can add to an revolution (Sure, this will cost lots of money, and it will take a while). If the revolution occurs you can support it and help them by fighting with them. After the revolution is over you can decide if you want this new state to be annexed to you or if it should get in an alliance wiht you, or a vassal. I think this new nation would have the name and flag wich would occur if you made a union with this nation before the revolution.

Well what you can do instead is send an ultimatum to a nation and demand all of their provinces, simple as that. The nation doesent even have to be a vassal state.

I agree. A "peaceful conquest" of some states via mail would save a lot of time mopping up island nations and smaller adversaries.
