Can't Find Multiplayer

I havent played this game in a long time, since xbox orignial, so i cant remember if multiplayer is unlocked by playing the game. or if the game i bought through steam doesnt have it.

Hmm.. It should have multiplayer from before. Whats the issue? You can't find any servers? Try to update to 1.04 (Google: Jk2 update 1.04)

Well i don't know about that, but the selection for multiplayer isnt even there. I see new, load, controls, and set up. ive looked through each option and still cant find the multiplayer, i even went into the jedi outcast folder and clicked both the jmp and jsp files but both took me to single player. and i tried installing the update in the link but it said it couldnt find the original JK2

I had to verify the integrity of the game cache a few times to get it working right. Then click play, multiplayer in steam, once the game loads click play, join server, set the source for internet, data rate lan/cable and then click get new list.
