i.e., I have yet to see ANY servers listed. Something amiss here?

There will always be active servers on this game because its multiplayer experience was so unique.Just expect a huge skill difference between you and the remaining players. Some of us have to playing this game since release.
Nothing is missing

You have to play at the patch 1.04! Always some servers with many people. And it's the best patch.

Yes, Mac & PC versions play with each other. There's only a couple active servers/clans, left, though. But they still hop.

I hope multiplayer still works, I got this game from my dad who got it from his friend from college. It sucks that all their 'cool' games lose the popularity after a year or so. Good luck though, can't wait to see everyone on this game and the multiplayer servers!

Does anyone still do CTF? That was the best game type imo.

People really still play this game? Interesting. I bought it because it was one of my favorite Xbox games; I didn't really have an interest in the online multiplayer as the Xbox version didn't support it. I'll have to check that out sometime.

Try right clicking the star wars title in the steam library, there should be a multiplayer option there?
