Any trick to the lightsaber combat?
I played this game on PC a few years ago and several times on Xbox when it was first released but I really seem to be having trouble on this playthrough. I'm playing on the normal difficulty (second to the easiest) and quite a few of the lightsaber fights seem brutally difficult. I thought I would be able to manage but I've been stuck on the Tavion boss fight for a few hours now. Is there any tips/tricks to the lightsaber fights? I kinda thought you just pointed your crosshair at the person, click frantically, and jump around a little bit for effect.

... Never mind
I'd go into the console "~" and typing in "helpusobi 1" then "tgm". Doing that puts you into God Mode, where you can't be killed.

I suggest then (since you are less nervous, and it's completely harmless to experiment), that you try fighting Tavion, and perfecting your combat skills, THEN trying to fight her again for real.

I hope I have been of help :)

EDIT: Actually, I think the command for god mode is "god". It's different in every game I've played. I'd try both of them.

Actually there's a great way to do this without cheats or console commands. Just use force speed and start hacking as fast as you can. Trust me, it works :D:

Use the force.

I remember having a heck of a time fighting in light saber duels when I first started playing.

A lot of it comes down to what kind of stance you choose. I never had much luck with the power stance. I'm pretty sure I went with the fast stance. The trick is to simply overpower them with hits, and once you get force push you can just knock them onto the ground and kill them, or use force speed with the speed stance and cut them up real quick.

There's a trick to it - try different methods. Don't forget to change up your stance and get good at swinging the saber. If you strafe left and right you do a horizontal swing - I had a lot of luck with jumping over them then stabbing backwards. It's slow but they'll sometimes run right into it.
