SOLUTION TO CRASH ON START UP.

Just to keep this from flooded with these topics, I shall make this topic, so other people do not have to make this topic (I've seen three in two days)

Go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/gldirect/. Download gldirect5_opensource.zip

Extract the contents. Go to the gldirect5\bin\release folder.

Copy opengl32.dll to your GameData folder.

(GameData folder is in Program Files(x86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/Jedi Outcast/)

It should be noted that this only works for Intel HD graphics cards.


A guide by http://steamcommunity.com/id/highlyfictional at http://steamcommunity.com/app/6030/discussions/0/492378806380464595/ should also be useful for helping you if you are on AMD/ATI. The steps in this guide should work on Intel too.

Ooooh, you linked my thread. It should be noted that this only works for Intel HD graphics cards. If this is happening and you don't have an Intel HD graphics card, it's probably another issue.

This fix has also worked for AMD/ATI graphics cards because of their lack of older OpenGL support. I suggest you use my guide if you want a complete walkthrough.
