That is a very bad card for gaming, Is it a laptop? If not i suggest you update it if its a desktop to anything really.

i used to have a similar, if not the same error, but for jedi academy, with an ATI Sapphire Radeon HD 4830
it turned out that the latest drivers stopped the game from running, and i searched about it on google and found out that i had to downgrade the drivers to an older versions to be able to run the game

copy paste from link above:
Download and install GLDirect. It makes OpenGL games use DirectX instead.

You may need to download DirectX 9. Don't worry, it won't mess with any of your Direct X 10 stuff.

Make sure that GLDirect has rendering set to your Video card rather than software rendering.

Here is the link. ftp:/ftp.scitechsoft.com/gld

After install, click the free-gldirect-code.txt. The product used to be shareware, now they have released it for free. Got Jedi Academy running on Vista with this.

its a desktop and I would really like to replace it but everytime I start to attempt finding a replacement I give up because the whole process gets so confusing. I think I have to also replace my power source cause it doesn't have enough whatever to power a better graphix card. I'm basically illiterate when it comes to stuff inside my computer... aaaargh
