Is dismemberment in steam version?

I remeber I could cut off any part of body with a lightsaber when I played this game for the first time many years ago. It was amazing. I never used anything else but lightsaber just because of that. Now Im thinking of buying this game from steam but I dont want to end up with some dumped down australian non violent bull**** version of a game if you know what I mean. So please let me know if I still can turn stormtroopers into giblets.

it's in every version, you have to put a console command in to make it work, it was something like g_saberrealisticcombat 20 I think, not sure, been a long time

Be sure to enable cheats first helpusobi 1 in console, maybe it's required

The mazes in all these star wars games are like phantasy star 2's dungeons in first person

If that doesn't work, use shift+~
Then type "HelpUsObi 1"
Then "G_SaberRealisticcombat 1"
and "G_Saberdismemberment 1".

r_customheight 1920
writeconfig autoexe.cfg

Type this in console after making your chagnes etc it will load everytime you can force resolutions of 1920x1080 and all that. saves the autoloading config to base folder inside game dir.

Yeah, you do get a lightsaber. You just have to play through some levels without it at the beginning of the game.

i dont have a lightsaber yet but in the options i can just click dismemberment on or off. So then why is this a question?
