Mouse Drifting in Win 8.1 & 10
I've seen several topics starting to discuss this issue, but none that actually list the fixes. Lets remedy that..

When I start the game, the mouse will tend to want to 'drift' downward.. This goes for both the menu and in game. Makes the game unplayable. It does this on my windows 8.1 desktop and my windows 10 laptop.

I've already disabled mouse acceleration in windows.

What is the fix??!

I am having the issue with a desktop, and a laptop.
I tried your advice on the laptop, no change.
Anybody else have any ideas?

I'm having the same issue on my Win 10 PC. Weird thing is, it gets worse the bigger I set my resolution.

Is this a Windows 10 thing?

I managed to fix the issue. I suspected it had something to do with the display settings because of what I mentioned about it getting worse at higher resolutions. So I went digging into all the settings I could find and then I found this:

Under your display settings you should find that windows automatically zooms apps and text. I set mine to 100% (it was set at 150%) and it fixed the problem for me. Plus I prefer my apps and text being actual size.

Let me know if this helps you.

I fixed the issue by going to the game's .exe file, going into the properties, clicking on the compatibility tab, and checking "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings".

Maybe try to set the text scale in windows options to 100%. For me this worked on Win 10. Before i had 200% (4k monitor^^)
