STAR WARS™ Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast™

STAR WARS™ Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast™

JK2 wants a CD even though I downloaded from steam
JK2 was crashing until I plugged in the opengl fix and it worked -- thanks!

Now I'm unable to start a new game or join and mp server because the game is asking for a CD. My laptop doesn't even have a disk drive.

Any way to mount an .iso or trick my computer into thinking there is a disk inside?

Many thanks!

There is but that shouldn't be a problem with the steam version. What have you tried so far? reinstalling? If you do reinstall you may need to redo the openGL fix.

it's because it's been ported onto steam, battlefront 2 supposedly needs CD key but it's never asked me to put it in

I have exactly the same issue. Bought the Star Wars pack on Steam, downloaded all the games but it keeps asking for a CD when I click on New game

are you getting a window with one on start-up? or if not, try opening the overlay in-game

It starts up, when I click on New game and then choose Jedi and click Begin Game, that's when the window pops up saying insert cd into drive

go to steam library find jedi academy. right click it and "delete local content" then once that is done click jedi academy and then click "Install"

Thanks, have tried that but still getting the stupid error

when you launch it try openning the overlay and see if there is a box with the CD key

It shouldn't need a CD key and even if it did there is no place to enter it for this game.

steam wants me to use a CD key for battlefront 2, but I haven't come across anywhere to put it in

If anyone else is having this problem. Make sure there is no cd/dvd disc in any drive on your computer.
