Anyways, I had problems playing W40: Dark Crusade LAN after my older bro got Win8.1. I think downloading OpenGL might help in some cases.
Can you give me a link or anything for that? I think I may have it, I just don't know what to do with it.
In the meantime, I'll go ahead and tell you about how I fixed Poker Night 1.
Every time I launched the game, it would crash. So, I went into Compatibility options for the .exe file and set it to WinXP (can't remember, SP2 or SP3), and ran the game as an administrator. It worked every time from then on. I can't tell you which SP I checked, since after I got the items I deleted every trace of the game for being a piece of crap.
Microsoft Visual C++
Microsoft .NET Framework
OpenAL
I can look into what my computer uses in old games (like RCT Deluxe and Interstate '76) to see what they do to run.

I'm installing it now.
When you say select the .exe file, do I drag this DirectDrawFix program into the .exe file itself?
(I'm not too tech-savy yet, cuz a lot of this is new to me, so thanks for being patient)
It'll be under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common, you can find the folder for Jedi Outcast. If you don't see Program Files (x86), try just Program Files.
