Permanent Corpses?

One thing that's always bothered me about Jedi Outcast is the fact that enemy bodies disappear after a while.

What I'd like to know is if there's a way to make it so that bodies DON'T vanish from the map. Like, ever. If anyone knows if this is possible, please reply.

i know you can do it in jedi academy by editing the config. but you can try editing the Jk2 config and add the following value to it.
seta g_corpseRemovalTime "0"
they shouldn't go away then if it works like it does in academy.

that CVAR was added in academy, so unsurprisingly

but academy's dismemberment is very finicky, and sometimes plain doesn't work, so there's really no such 'best of both worlds' in either game

You can just play Outcast in Jedi academy with the JO_JA mod therefore then getting bodies to stay in JKA and then playing through JKO

But I want to actually play Jedi Outcast through Jedi Outcast, not Jedi Academy, I mean, I have both games but I don't really like using the JOA method, also what was the point of buying the game if you were going to play it through a mod for Academy anyway.

the point is exactly that one LoL enemies satying in the ground. A must have for me. I can't play Outcast without that feature (but you lose some features, true)
