Which Jedi Knight game better? What is the best Star Wars game on Steam ???

Idk if I want to buy Jedi Knight I or Jedi Knight II. I haven't played either so which one is the best. also if there are any better Star Wars games on Steam please let me know.

Jedi Outcast has a better story and better gameplay than Jedi Academy (which is the sequel to this, btw). Jedi Acadmey has a larger MP player base though.

Jedi Academy has extremely light RPG elements - character customization (not a lot to pick from though), Lightsaber customization (a few different hilts, and you pick your blade color), and you can upgrade your Force powers for Light Side and/or Dark Side after completing some missions. There's only about three Force powers on each side though. You immediately begin with a lightsaber, and very basic, weak force powers. You get to pick what guns you want at the start of missions as well, but you can't carry all of them. You can play in both first and third person, but when holding your Lightsaber, you can only be in third person.

In Jedi Outcast, your Force powers improve after reaching certain points, and you get Force powers from both Dark and Light Side. You begin with only a gun, but you get a Lightsaber with some Force powers early in the game, which builds into a pretty nice story. You collect tons of guns and explosives throughout the game, and you keep them all. You can play in both first and third person, even when using a Lightsaber. There's no Lightsaber customization here, but you there are "cheats" you can use to change the blade color.

Having played all of the jk games I gotta say the original Jedi Knight is my favorite. You'll have to deal with old school graphics and pretty simplistic saber action but the levels are large and (imho) fun and very unique. Ever wanted to play a level that's been tilted at a 45 degree angle? Do a search for Jedi Knight Falling Ship lol. There's a pretty wide variety of level designs. If you're up to tinkering with mods look for JK Enhanced. Hi-res texture packs are also available.
