How do I turn on dismemberment?

Simple as that, anybody can give me a hand?

Try this.

Create a file autoexec.cfg in the *core*/Gamedata/base folder.

Copy paste there:
seta sp_language 0
seta ui_iscensored 0
seta g_dismemberment 11381138

Save it.

11381138 is a specific number (reference to George Lucas' THX 1138) that turns on unrestricted dismemberment without altering game balance in any way. Doesn't work in Jedi Academy.

Yeah, weird how it works for some versions and for some (censored?) doesn't. It always works for me, but that might be because I am using OpenJO.

One idea I found in a Steam guide is to bind "g_dismemberment" to a key and press it each time you load a save.

autoexec.cfg should activate automatically. If it doesn't command is "exec autoexec.cfg".

you don't need to go into the files just open the console by pressing shift and `
then type in "helpusobi 1" and enter
then type "g_saberrealisticcombat 1" and enter

I got the binded key as well but its still worse compared to having it permanent : (

Extra locked german versions of video games (censorship) are so outdated, childish and breaking quality/immersion, I hate it for every game thats affected.

You mention that because you are in germany?
Also it was a game from another time, still dont get why you HAVE to play wolfenstein new order with the censored swastica to this day.

make a shortcut to the game on desktop and in the target line add +those commands and it'll work every time you run it

I changed the dismemberment value to 100% on all NPC in the cfg file, with the probabilities cvar set to 100% (so "g_dismemberProbabilities" to "0" -> Excessive).

This is the only way to got the dismemberment works on a body part during a fatal hit with a probability of 100%. Except on German text version, you need to re-set the dismemberment cvar ("g_dismemberment") to "3" (Full body) in every new level.)

I'm from the u.s idk if that makes a difference but what I was told to try was g_saberrealisticcombat 1, and that didn't work, well ign has a post on their website for all the cheats and what not and one of the cheats is the dismemberment cheat and the one they posted actually works for me, all you have to put is "g_saberrealisticcombat" that's it. If you try this let me know if it worked for you! I hope it does btw lol its a sick ass cheat tbh lol

I actually manage to get it to work a long time ago, also wow.. would you believe me if I say that escaped my mind util you put it out? omg I am so blind XD
